I would be nice if we had more sensors, so that the ecu would not be guessing how much fuel to put in, but I don't know what type of sensor would be usefull, I think that oxygen sensors and manifold pressure sensors would be useless on a two stroke engine, a mass air flow sensor and or Intake air temperature sensor may be usefull, but inaccurate due to some of the air charge being lost out the exhaust. I find this strange, at the very least we should be able to go as far as malossi did, and add or remove fuel. One of them claimed to have examined the code and found that it was very simple and did not see any potential in working with it (due mainly to lack of other sensors). I have been reading some of the old threads on here, and I see over the past couple years there have been multiple people who had a friend in chiptuning they were going to ask to look at sr50 ecu.
